Anupam Kher's Acting School in New York

Well, a good news is that, Talented Actor of the Indian Film Industry Anupam Kher is going to launch his acting school. Yes, he is planning to open it in New York in a venture that will especially provide a platform to the Indian origin actors in North America. Anupam Kher is an acclaimed Padma Shri Award winning Indian actor who has shown his outstanding acting talent in nearly 400 films and 100 plays.

Apart from Bollywood movies, the talented actor has done roles in some films from other nations . Anupam Kher also held the post of Chairman of the National School of Drama and Censor Board in India. For him acting is a passion , he was entitled with a National Film Award for his unforgettable role in the movie 'Daddy' in the year 1990. Sources says that, the launch of his acting school is being announced in association with the chairman and CEO of TV Asia, H R Shah and it is going to be the second overseas chapter of the Mumbai-based studio after the one in London.

TV ASIA is North America's first 24/7 television channel for the South Asian community, it was founded by Amitabh Bachchan in the year 1993. In the year 1997, an entrepreneur named H R Shah took over TV ASIA and moulded it into a channel that centers on the Indian community, traditions and culture. Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, reacts on it by saying that, here are a lot of talented Indian American actors in North America and they have no platform to show their talent . His acting school will provide the desired platform to them.

The talented actor further adds that, acting is a craft which is universal and it can be taught, perfected and learned, his acting school is not going to be Bollywood centric, it will train the actors to perform anywhere in the world. His acting school's name is 'Actor Prepares' it will help the learning actors to gain a foothold not just in Bollywood, but in Hollywood. Anupam Kher has performed in the movies like 'Saaransh' 'Dil' with Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit, 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge', 'Chaahat', 'Mohabbatein' and 'Veer Zaara' with Shahrukh Khan. His upcoming projects are 'Chai Garam' with Govinda, 'Rajdhani Express' with Shabana Azmi and Prateeksha with Jimmy Shergil.
