Once again Deepika Padukone is in news as the Bollywood superstar Rajnikanth dislikes the look of her for his upcoming movie ‘Rana’. Rajnikanth called his makeup artist and asked about Deepika’s look and gave instructions to artist for her sexy look which is the demand of this movie. Now the rumor suggests that Deepika takes one step forward from the demand of Rajnikanth. On the set of movie ‘Rana’, she appears in a sexy look, she wears a traditional south Indian dress in which she looks very hot.

Deepika said that she never hesitate opposite big stars. Deepika is not only a hot actress but she is also a super model. Recently Shot Digital Camera in India has appointed Deepika as the brand ambassador for new Cyber Shot Digital camera. Sony India is planning to invest more than Rs. 50 crore for their products marketing campaign in India with Deepika Padukone. Imran and Deepika are heading for Dubai!

A big buzz in the Bollywood town is that, hot couple of the Bollywood town Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone are heading for Dubai for the premiere of their latest flick 'Break Ke Baad', the flick is Directed by Danish Aslam. The Director of the movie adds that, they really want to have a premiere in Dubai and they are to work on the schedule of the cast and crew so that they all can make their presence at the premiere of their movie ''Break Ke Baad'.


In this movie the hot couple Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone are playing the lead role. The stars are very excited for their forthcoming release and they are wishing for it's grand success heartily. 'Break Ke Baad' is all set to release November 26, 2010. Sources says that, as the flick is going to hit theatres on November 26 so the filmmakers are trying to held a special premiere of the movie in 'Dubai'on November 25, 2010.

In this movie Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone are sharing the screen space for the very first time. Handsome hunk Imran Khan is going to play the role of a die-hard fan of Shahrukh Khan and happening lady of the Indian Film Industry, Deepika Padukone will be seen as a commitment-phobic girl. Deepika will not Kiss Hrithik

Love Aaj Kal fame Deepika Padukone currently is in the US to attend a close cousin’s wedding and to spend some quality time with her relatives. After her recent break-up with Ranbir Kapoor, ye break to banta hai.

Actress Deepika Padukone surprised Ranbir Kapoor by throwing a party on his birthday on Sunday night. Deepika also gifted him a sleek and high-end laptop.




Deepika took Ranbir to a restaurant for dinner on his birthday. It is said that Ranbir Kapoor was thrilled to see his old friends at the surprise party.

It is also said that Ranbir watched the first trial of his film Wake Up Sid with Deepika and his parents on his birthday. Wake Up Sid which is produced by Karan Johar and directed by Ayan Mukerjee is set for release this Friday, 2nd October.

Bebo's ghost troubles Deepika

Kareena Kapoor's absence in Love Aaj Kal is being more talked about than Deepika Padukone's presence in the movie.

Saif Ali Khan has been regularly talking about missing his lady love Bebo in the movie and this hasn't gone down too well with Deepika. Her frustration with Kareena's ghost has now become a major embarrassment for the Saif and the director Imtiaz Ali.

Deepika stunned Saif Ali Khan and Imtiaz Ali when she said Kareena was getting more publicity through the movie although she was starring in it.

Deepika also said that only Kareena's name was taken when Jab We Met was discussed but Shahid Kapoor's performance had being ignored.

Both the director and actor are scared every time Deepika opens her mouth in a press meet. Even the director and the actor cum producer are not in great terms after having had a verbal battle over the film's promos. All this means Love Aaj Kal is in trouble just two weeks prior to its release.

Deepika Padukone has a phobia of snakes

While shooting for the second issue of Harper's Bazaar in Thailand, Deepika Padukone found snakes in quite close proximity.

Deepika always had a phobia about snakes. while Deepika was relaxing outside her room at night she saw a huge snake, almost three feet long with it's hood raised.



Deepika shuddered and said, "It was the scariest moment of my life. I jumped and screamed loudly. My mom was in her room and came out to see all the commotion was about but by that time the snake had slithered away."

But Deepika prefers to cite the incident as a positive one. Deepika said that in India, snakes are worshipped and it's a very good omen.

It was a privilege shooting for Harper's Bazaar India's second edition. Atul Kasbekar shot some great pictures in Thailand. Deepika is always ready for a good cause. Last week, she walked the ramp in a Carolina Herrera dress for Mai Mumbai at the Lakme Fashion Week ,a show put up by Vikram Chatwal and Naomi Campbell to raise funds for the 26/11 victims of the terror attacks. The funds are going for 26/11 victims and provide infrastructure like ambulances and first aid.

Deepika-Sonam's-Dostana

Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor much to our surprise have become very great friends. Recently Sonam asked Deepika to attend Slumdog Millionaire’s Indian premiere.Ranbir, Sonam, Deepika and her ex-boyfriend Nihar Pandya have been out together. The truth is that Ranbir has no issues with Deepika being friends with Nihar.







The source also revealed that Deepika recently congratulated Sonam for the great music of Delhi-6, They are regularly in touch with each other on SMS.
